Trevor Villwock Austin TX Texas Music Teacher Composer Pianist Piano Headshot

Trevor Villwock is a composer and pianist based in Austin, TX. He has written pieces for a wide variety of musical configurations, including electroacoustic pieces for a single performer, operatic stage works, improvisatory pieces for iPad quintet, and pieces for large ensembles. His works have been programmed at festivals including the 2018 Cortona Sessions for New Music and the 2019 N.E.O Voice Festival and received premieres from the Austin Symphony Orchestra, the Boulder Chorale, and the Colorado Honor Band Association among others. Trevor currently works as a teacher at Greater Austin Music Academy. He also gigged extensively around Austin with bands including Elijah Zane and the Peacemakers and The Eastside Blues Syndicate before the Covid pandemic happened. He's currently in the second year of a Computer Science degree at Texas State San Marcos and working on green computing as part of Dr. Ziliang Zong's research group.

Eric Mulhern is a software engineer currently working on open-source library d3reactor, a charting library for creating performant, responsive, and configurable data visualizations. Eric is currently developing the library with a team under tech accelerator OSLabs.


Eric was a recent speaker for the SingleSprout Speaker Series, giving a lecture on Test Driven Development in the Age of AI.


While pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at University of Colorado, Boulder, Eric developed a passion for programming when he took a course in Max MSP – a visual programming language built upon C++ for live audio and video processing. In conjunction with his Minor in Business, he founded Innervate Wearable Tech, a startup aimed at producing a wearable digital musical effects controller.


Eric has a passion for creating, connecting, sharing ideas, making music, staying healthy, and making the most out of this life on our planet.
